Q: Where is Sandbars Inn located, and what’s the surrounding area like?
A: Sandbars Inn is in the quaint village of North Truro, Massachusetts, on the northern tip of Cape Cod. Situated within the Cape Cod National Seashore, the area is famous for its beautiful coastal dunes, water views and iconic lighthouses. Guests also love to visit nearby Truro Vineyards, Wellfleet and historic Provincetown—just 10 minutes away.
Q: What outdoor activities are nearby?
A: For starters, you can go whale watching right here on our private beach. There are plenty of trails, beaches and waterways to explore, plus hiking, biking, walking, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing options and charters for all ages and skill levels. You can also climb Cape Cod’s first lighthouse, Highland Light, here in North Truro. Check out our Things to Do page for more ideas.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa and cash.
Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations made by telephone or email at least 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date will receive a full room deposit refund, minus a $25 administration fee. If you cancel fewer than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you’ll forfeit the deposit amount.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Guests enjoy free parking at the hotel. However, we can’t accommodate over-sized vehicles.
Q: Is there complimentary Wi-Fi?
A: Yes. When you arrive, please check with the front desk for instructions. We don’t provide laptops.
Q: How many people can stay in each guest room?
A: Standard queen, standard king and king superior rooms can accommodate up to two guests. Double queen deluxe and double queen superior rooms can accommodate up to four guests.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Yes. Please call 508.487.8700 prior to booking to ensure there’s a pet-friendly room available for your dates. A $30 per-day pet fee and a $100 refundable deposit apply. Guests must adhere to our pet policy.
Q: Do you have laundry facilities?
A: Unfortunately, we don’t have on-site laundry facilities.
Q: Can I bring my bicycle to the resort?
A: Yes! There are several nearby bike trails. There are also many bike rental options. Ask our General Manager for more details.
Q: Do you have cribs?
A: We don’t have cribs onsite; however, we’re happy to assist you in finding a rental option here on the Cape.
Q: Are there personal appliances in the room?
A: Each guest room contains a wall-mounted hairdryer.
Q: Can I make coffee in my room?
A: You sure can! Sandbars Inn offers suites with stocked kitchens or kitchenettes. Every room has a coffee maker. See Our Rooms page for details.
