A Few Things to do on Commercial Street…

We are so happy to be situated in cozy North Truro.

With our stunning private beach, a gorgeous local vineyard, fantastic restaurants and so much more, we are spoiled in our small town! With that said, Sandbars wouldn’t be Sandbars if we weren’t right next to the amazing Provincetown

Provincetown is a town unlike any other. Full to the brim with personality and culture, Provincetown (lovingly referred to as ‘Ptown’ by locals and lovers of the seaside oasis) is known for housing artists, being a vocal safe space and spotlight for LGBTQ+ folks, and delicious seafood. One of the many facets that make this town what it is, is Commercial Street! A “main street” that runs along the shoreline of Ptown, Commercial Street is packed with local stores, each one drawing you in. In this blog, we will be naming just a few of our favorites, but this is by no means a be-all-end-all list! Please make sure to pop your head into as many shops as possible, supporting local artisans and enjoying the incredible community here.

Angel Foods

Of course, when you visit Massachusetts, you can’t escape history around every corner! Angel Foods is no different, located in a storefront that dates back to the 19th century, and once housed a fishing and whaling company, a market, a grocery store, and is now home to Angel Foods. Today you can find gourmet groceries, prepared foods, cheeses, fresh vegetables, and more. With the “look and feel of an old-fashioned, small-town market,” we’re sure you’ll enjoy your visit!

Paws & Whiskers is a pet store, and given its location on Commercial Street, rest assured you will discover unique items found only here that your pet will adore! As they say on their website – “ask your dog to bring you in!”.
